Eddie Davis

About the Artist

Eddie Davis’ paintings can be somewhat hard to describe, and obviously show a variety of styles and influences.

The combination of action and serenity provided in his paintings gives the viewer a unique experience of being part of something truly beautiful and spectacular.

Growing up on the East Coast, Eddie has lived in Hawaii for the last 15 years, having dreamed of doing so since he began learning about the islands in the 4th grade. A one-way ticket and faith in his heart has provided him with more passion for his art than he could have ever imagined.

The constant bombardment of colors that pulses through the islands by day as well as by night, the overwhelming generosity of the people of Hawaii, and the ever-present love and inspiration of his family and friends, have given him an endless “heartful” mind to paint with.

Eddie’s art has often been described as “abstract,” but others who have lived in Hawaii for any significant amount of time (and some just visiting or on vacation) clearly and immediately see Hawaii’s paradise in his art.

The love of surfing, canoe paddling, and listening to classic rock also enhances and is truly felt in all of Eddie’s work. All of his paintings are original, one-of-a-kind, and full of peace, love and joy.
